Everything on this page, and anything agreed through it, must align with these two. Nothing is committed to without consultation, and nothing that fails these is committed to at all.
No harm
Nothing we build, publish, or agree to may cause harm to people. We stand under the umbrella nearly every nation on earth has signed: our apps are held to the rights and freedoms of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The right to seek the good life
Every person has the right to seek a good life for themselves and their family, and our work exists to widen that road rather than narrow it.
The scientific method
Our rules are anchored in UK law, with the Love Between Nations Manifesto as a voluntary higher standard. These decisions are debated openly and held to scientific scrutiny: users anywhere may propose a framework from their own country or tradition, with their reasons. If a scientifically proven better way to draft our terms emerges β wherever our apps are used β we will ratify it, for the welfare of all.
Open to all
The Factory welcomes all people, without prejudice β and explicitly welcomes people with disabilities; our tools are for everyone. What we refuse is apps, never people: an app we judge dangerous may be declined or removed, for reasons we may discuss or keep our own. The last word belongs to scientific evidence, scrutinised by peers across at least nine distinct intellectual and ideological traditions through our open governance process; until that consensus exists, we apply common sense and our judgement β and stand accountable for both.
Transparent instruction
Our apps are built with third-party artificial-intelligence tools. We publish, openly and permanently, the safety rules we give those tools: never invent facts a visitor could act on β no phone numbers, addresses, bank details, prices, opening hours, or reviews; where a detail is missing, show a clearly marked gap for the owner to fill; a visible gap is always better than a plausible invention someone might rely on. We instruct our tools as benignly as we know how, in the open, so our care is a matter of record β and where they still err, our review, approval and takedown processes stand behind them.
